RTO 31548

The Australian Boiler College as an RTO 31548 offers Nationally Recognized training in both Boilers and Turbines. This training meets the requirements of the State regulators for the issuing of a Australia wide High Risk License.

BOILERS

MSMBLIC 001 LICENCE TO OPERATE BOILER STANDARD
This licence class includes the operation of a boiler with a single fuel source that does not have a pre-heater, superheater or economiser attached.

MSMBLIC 002 LICENCE TO OPERATE AN ADVANCE BOILER
The scope of work for advanced boiler operation includes the operation of a boiler, including a standard boiler, which may have one or more of the following:

1.  Multiple fuel sources
2.  Pre-heater
3.  Superheater
4.  Economiser

It is a prerequisite that applicants for an advanced boiler licence already hold or have previously passed assessment for a lower level boiler operation licence.

 

TURBINES
UEPOPL001A LICENCE TO OPERATE STEAM TURBINE

This level covers the functions required to operate a turbine with any or all of the following features-attached condensers,multi wheeled, multi heat extraction process, a speed greater than 3600 R.P.M.
Units of compencey

1.  Start steam turbine
2.  Operate and monitor Turbine
3.  Shut down turbine
